OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated September 4, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective September 4, 2007: (

a) accept the resignation and revoke the appointment of William Lahey as Deputy Minister of Environment and Labour; (

b) appoint Nancy Vanstone as Acting Deputy Minister of Environment and Labour; and (

c) designate Nancy Vanstone as deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act.
