OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Deputy Premier dated February 14, 2007, pursuant to Sections 32 and 33 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, Sections 7 and 84 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to, effective April 1, 2006: (

a) revoke the Deputy Minister Pay Plan approved by Order in Council 2002-244 dated May 24, 2002; (

b) revoke the "at risk" performance pay on an annual basis up to a maximum of 15% of the Deputy Minister Pay Plan (DM11) for Deputy Ministers and other senior officials designated by the Governor in Council approved by Order in Council 2002-329; (

c) approve the Senior Officials Pay Plan containing recommended rates of compensation and a formula for annual economic adjustments to the rates of compensation based upon external market information in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

d) amend clause (

g) of Order in Council 2004-305 dated July 30, 2004 by striking out "MCP35 Pay Plan" and replacing it with "Senior Officials Pay Plan"; and (

e) amend clause (

e) of Order in Council 2004-438 dated November 4, 2004 by striking out "MCP35 Pay Plan" and replacing it with "Senior Officials Pay Plan".
