OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated March 9, 1999, pursuant to subsections 5(1), (2), (3) and (4),
Section 6 and subsections 8(1) and (2) of
Chapter 1 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1997 (Second Session), the Highway Workers Collective Bargaining Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Lorne MacDougall, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and designate him as Chair of the Highway Workers Employee Relations Board for a term of office of two years commencing March 15, 1999, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $10,000.00 per annum, and in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (
b) appoint Charles Broderick of New Waterford, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as a member of the Highway Workers Employee Relations Board for a term of office of two years commencing March 15, 1999, and to determine remuneration at the rate of $2,000.00 per annum, and in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred in the discharge of his duties; and (
c) appoint Malcolm Boyle of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Highway Workers Employee Relations Board for a term of office of two years commencing March 15, 1999, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $2,000.00 per annum, and in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a Board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
