OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated April 7, 2005, pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 5.7 acres, more or less, situate at or near Victoria Bridge, Cape Breton County, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the land to Bernard Simon Gillis of Sydney, Cape Breton County, for the price of $1,700.00; (

c) convey an easement to Patricia L. Morrison, Cecelia C. Beaton, Gertrude A. Gately, Bernard A. Beaton, John J. Beaton, all of the State of Massachusetts, United States of America and Ronald J. Beaton, State of Texas, United States of America for ingress and egress to their property; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
