I'd like to call the Committee of Supply to order. May we have unanimous consent to revert to a brief introduc- tion of guests? HON. MEMBERS: Agreed. THE CHAIRMAN: Opposed? Carried. The hon. Member for Edmonton-Glenora. head: Introduction of Guests MR. SAPERS: Thank you, Mr. Chairman, and thank you, colleagues. It's my privilege to introduce to all members of the Assembly the 129th Luther Pl ace Cub Scouts.

They're here tonight learning more about government. I can tell you that they're very inquisitive. They asked tremendously insightful questions about the goings-on in these Chambers and the environs. They are a pack of about right now led by Akela Louis Omerzu, and there are several other leaders and parents with them. I would ask them to please rise and receive the warm welcome of this Assembly. THE CHAIRMAN: We're in Committee of Supply, and we're about to go into subcommittees of supply.

The subcommittee that deals with Executive Council will remain here in the Assembly, and the subcommittee which deals with Advanced Education and Career Development will be in room 512. We'd invite all of those people who are going to be in room dealing with Advanced Education and Career Development to leave, and we'll take a moment's recess until we're ready to begin the subcommit- tee on Executive Council. [The committee met as subcommittees A and B from 8:02 p.m. to 10:25 p.m.] THE CHAIRMAN: I'd like to call the committee to order. The hon. Member for Lacombe-Stettler. MRS. GORDON: Mr.

Chairman, subcommittee A of the Commit- tee of Supply has had under consideration certain resolutions of the Department of Advanced Education and Career Development, reports progress thereon, and requests leave to sit again. THE CHAIRMAN: Does the committee concur in this report? HON. MEMBERS: Agreed. THE CHAIRMAN: Opposed? Carried. The hon. Member for Calgary-Bow. MRS. LAING: Mr. Chairman, subcommittee B of the Committee of Supply has had under consideration certain resolutions of Executive Council, reports progress thereon, and requests leave to sit again. THE CHAIRMAN: Does the committee concur in this report?
