Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Conne River Local Planning Area.

PLANNING

AREA

Commencing at a point, that point being located at ordinary highwater mark

in a northeasterly direction from

Reuben

Point

and being also 800 metres from the northeasternmost boundary of the Conne River Indian Reserve;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction parallel to and 800 metres from the boundary of the Indian Reserve for a distance of 2,140 metres;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction parallel to and 800 metres from the boundary of the Indian Reserve for a distance of 5,540 metres;

Then in a generally westerly direction parallel to and 800 metres from the boundary of the Indian Reserve for a distance of 3,860 metres;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction parallel to and 800 metres from the boundary of the Indian Reserve to a point at ordinary highwater mark on the eastern shoreline of Bay d'Espoir, and being also 800 metres from the northwesternmost boundary of the Indian Reserve near Vyse Cove;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction, following the sinuosities of the shoreline via Vyse Cove, Black Duck Cove, Little Looe Cove, Reuben Point, to the point of commencement, but excluding all those lands contained within the boundaries of the Conne River Indian Reserve as described in the

Schedule attached to and forming part of the agreement dated June 5, 1987, and signed by the Governments of Canada and Newfoundland.
