OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change dated March 2, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 66 of

Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Environment Act , is pleased to amend the Activities Designation Regulations , N.S. Reg. 47/1995, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 95-286 dated April 11, 1995, to: (

a) exempt 11 activities related to food or fish and animal by-products from the requirement to obtain an industrial approval, in the manner set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after May 10, 2022; and (

b) repeal 11 activities related to food or fish and animal by-products that require an industrial approval, in the manner set forth in

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after May 10, 2023.
