section 8(2) of the Protection of Children Involved in Prostitution Act.

1 The Protection of Children Involved in Prostitution

Regulation (AR 5/99) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 3 is amended by striking out "December 31, 2004"

and substituting "November 30, 2012".

PROCEDURES (TRESPASS) AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Procedures Regulation (AR 233/89) is amended by

this Regulation.

(2) Where a person is charged with a 2nd or subsequent offence

for the contravention of

section 2(1) of the Petty Trespass Act with

respect to the same land, the person is required to appear before a

justice without the alternative of making a voluntary payment.

2 The specified penalty payable for the contravention of

section

2.1(4) of the Petty Trespass Act is $250.

Schedule 2 is amended by adding the following after

Trespass To Premises Act

1(1) The specified penalty payable in respect of a contravention of

section 3 of the Trespass to Premises Act is $250.

(2) Where a person is charged with a 2nd or subsequent offence

for the contravention of

with respect to the same land, the person is required to appear

before a justice without the alternative of making a voluntary

3 This Regulation comes into force on June 1, 2004.

section 1(12) of the Dairy Industry Omnibus Act, 2002.

1 The Alberta Milk Records Transfer Regulation

(AR 148/2002) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 2 is amended by adding the following after

clause (g):

h) producer records created during the period January 1, 1997 to

July 31, 2002 consisting of the case files for all active and

inactive producers containing license applications, copies of

licenses, inspections and reports, withdrawn notice of

appointment of power of attorney documents, producer

name, address, telephone number, Central Milk Testing

numbers and CDC Registration numbers;

(

i) notice of appointment of power of attorney records created

during the period August 1, 1992 to July 31, 2002 consisting

of the notice of appointment of attorney documents filed by

the lending institutions who have a financial interest in a

producer's quota, including the original numbered

documents, the register of active and withdrawn documents,

the producer's name, address, bank name and address and

signatories for both parties;

(

j) letters to or from producers, processors, Central Milk Testing

Laboratory, CDC and quota brokers created during the period

August 1, 1992 to July 31, 2002 relating to producers, quota

allocations and quota transfers, quota exchange, year end

adjustments, applications to register as a producer, cancelled

producer licences, withdrawn power of attorney documents,

reconciliations, working papers, reports, Central Milk

Consulting Engineers of Alberta Act

GENERAL REGULATION

Made by the Board of Directors and approved by the members of the Consulting

Engineers of Alberta on December 10, 2003 pursuant to

section 16(2) of the

Consulting Engineers of Alberta Act.

Definitions

1 In this Regulation,

(a) "consulting engineering business" does not include a

business operated by

(

i) any municipal or provincial government or the federal

government, or

(ii) an agency of any municipal or provincial government or

the federal government;

(b) "professional engineer" means an individual who holds a

certificate of registration to engage in the practice of

engineering under the Engineering, Geological and

Geophysical Professions Act.

Membership accreditation criteria

2 To qualify for registration as a member, an applicant must

(

a) operate a consulting engineering business that offers one or

more of the services listed in the Schedule,

(

b) maintain permanent facilities and have employees in Alberta,

managed by one or more professional engineers,

(

c) have at least 2 years' operating experience as a consulting

engineering business,

(

d) employ a professional engineer in Alberta who has, after

registration as a professional engineer, at least 5 years'

experience in a consulting engineering business, and

(

e) comply with the code of consulting engineering ethics

established by bylaw.

Reorganization

3 The Board may waive compliance with

section 2(

c) if the Board is

of the opinion that

(

a) the applicant's business is essentially a reorganization of an

existing consulting engineering business that would

otherwise meet the requirements of

section 2(c), and

(

b) the main elements of the existing consulting engineering

business are continued in the reorganized form.

Annual renewal of registration

4 To qualify for a renewal of membership, a member must

(

a) satisfy the Registrar that the member

(

i) continues to meet the requirements of this Regulation,

and

(ii) has been complying with the code of consulting

engineering ethics established by bylaw,

and

(

b) state on a form provided by the Registrar that the member

undertakes to advise the Registrar promptly if the member

ceases to meet any of the requirements of this Regulation.

Land Base Requirements

Tables 7 to 30 specify the required land base for the amount of

manure, composting materials or compost that may be applied to a

parcel of land, subject to the limitations noted below. Producers have

the option of using these tables or submitting a nutrient management

plan to show that they have the required land base for manure

production. The tables are based on average soil fertility levels in the

four soil zones and manure, composting materials or compost nutrient

from typical production systems. The tables are based on a one-time

application of manure, composting materials or compost based on

nitrogen. The assumed supply of nutrients from manure, composting

materials or compost are listed in Table 4. These land base manure

application rates do not take into account other fertilizer nutrients

which may be used.

Manure Production Volumes

Tables 5 and 6 contain average manure volumes expected from

common categories and types of livestock. Volumes are from typical

housing systems and include added water (spillage and fresh water) as

well as bedding and spilled feed. These are variables and should be

taken into account and adjustments made where appropriate. These

volumes are used to determine the manure storage volumes as well as

for determining manure nutrient amounts used for the land base

requirements.
