An Act to provide for the Postponement of the Tabling of Certain Documents Table of Contents

Short title Tabling of documents Coming into force (Assented to January 12, 1978)

Short title This Act may be cited as The Tabling of Documents (Postponement) Act, 1978. S.S. 1977-78, c.38, s.1.

Tabling of documents postponed Every provision in any Act, pursuant to which an order, regulation, bylaw, rule, schedule, contract, report, return or statement, or a copy thereof, or an amendment thereto, or a copy of an amendment thereto, or any other document is required to be laid before or submitted to the Legislative Assembly after the commencement of the present session, is hereby suspended in operation and shall be deemed to require that the order, regulation, bylaw, rule, schedule, contract, report, return or statement, or a copy thereof, or an amendment thereto, or a copy of an amendment thereto, or any other document shall be laid before or submitted to the Legislative Assembly at any time during the present session or within fifteen days after the first sitting day of the next ensuing session.

S.S. 1977-78, c.38, s.2. Coming into force This Act comes into force on the day of assent but is retroactive and shall be deemed to have been in force on and from the sixteenth day of November, 1977.
