In general terms, Development Regulations Amendment No. 2, 2018, will increase the floor area for an accessory building on lots with an area of 1860 m2 to 3035m2 to 112 m2.

b) tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC. 4. The following proportions of drugs and combinations of drugs and alcohol are prescribed for the purpose of

section s 60.004 and 60.5 of the Act: (a) 5 m illigrams o f g ammahydroxybutyrate, a lso known as GHB, per litre of blood; (b) 5 nanograms of tetrahydrocannabinol, a l s o k n o w n a s T H C , per millilitre of blood; (c) 2.5 nanograms of tetrahydrocannabinol , also known as THC, per millilitre of blood and 50 milligrams or more of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood; and (

d) any detectable level in the body or blood of (

i) cocaine, (ii) ketamine, (iii) lysergic acid diethylamide, also known as LSD, (iv) methamphetamine, (

Section 6.1 of the Vehicle Seizure and Impoundment Regulations, 2012 is repealed and the following substituted: 6.1

(1) A peace officer shall seize a motor vehicle and impound it where the proportion of alcohol in the blood of the driver o perating the vehicle or the person who has care or control of the vehicle meets or exceeds the prohibited proportion. (2) A moto r vehicle impounded under subsection (1) shall be held for a period of 7 days where the driver operating the vehicle or the person who has care or control of the vehicle is (a) 2 2 y e a r s o f a g e o r o l d e r a n d n o t a n o v i c e d r i v e r a n d t h e proportion of alcohol in his or her blood is 50 milligrams of alcohol or more but less than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood; or (

b) l e s s t h a n 2 2 y e a r s o f a g e o r a n o v i c e d r i v e r a n d t h e proportion of alcohol in his or her blood is greater than 0 milligrams of alcohol but less than 80 milligrams of alco hol in 100 millilitres of blood, after which period the vehicle may be released in accordance with subsection 19(1).

(3) A motor vehicle impounded under subsection (1) shall be h e l d f o r a period of 30 days where the proportion of alcohol in the blood of the driver opera ting the vehicle or the person who has care or control of the vehicle is 80 milligrams of alcohol or more in 100 millilitres of blood after which period the vehicle may be released in accordance with subsection 19(1).

(4) A peace officer shall seize a motor vehicle and impound it where (

a) the driver operating the vehicle or the person who has care or control of the vehicle is less than 22 years of age, a novice driver or a driver of a commercial motor vehicle and the proportion of a drug in the body of that driver or person constitutes a presence in acco rdance with Presence and Prohibited Proportion of Drugs Regulations; or (

b) the peace officer has reasonable grounds to believe that the ability of the driver operating the vehicle or the person who has care or control of the vehicle to operate the motor vehicle is impaired by a drug or a combination of a drug and alcohol.

(5) A motor vehicle impounded under subsection (4 ) shall be held for a period of 7 days after which period the vehicle may be released in accordance with subsection 19(1).

(6) A peace officer shall seize a motor vehicle and impound it where the driver operating the vehicle or the person who has care or control of the vehicle fails or refuses to comply with a demand made under

section 254 of the Criminal Code.

(7) A motor vehicle impounded under subsection (6 ) shall be held for a period of 30 days after which period the vehicle may be released in accordance with subsection 19(1). 2. These regulations come into force on October 17, 2018. ©Queen's Printer Commencement

(1.2) Where an asset referred to in subsection (1) is used to mine, process or smelt both ore originating inside and outside the province, the depreciation expense referred to in subsection (1) shall be reduced by the proportion that the asset is used by a taxpayer in proc essing or smelting ore from outside the province as com pared to the total use of the asset during a year. 2. Subsection 61(3) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

(3) For the purpose of subsection (1) where a processing asset or smelting asset referred to in that subsection is used to process or smelt both ore originating inside and outside the province, the proces sing allowance referred to in subsection (1) shall be reduced by the proportion that the asset is used by a taxpayer in processing or smelting ore from outside the province as compared to the total use of the asset during a year. 3. Subsection 61.1(3) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

(3) Where mining operations, processing or smelting activity by a taxpayer relates to ore originating both ins ide and outside the province, the operating expenses referred to in subsection (1) and

section 82 of the Act shall be reduced by the proportion that the taxpayer processes or smelts ore from outside the province as compared to the total ore processed or smelted in the province by a taxpayer during the year. 4.
