B.C. Reg. 35/2004, deposited February 2, 2004, pursuant to the WILDLIFE ACT [Section 108 (2)]. Order in Council 75/2004, approved and ordered January 30, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor,

by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective

April 1, 2004, the Firearm and Hunting Licensing Regulation, B.C. Reg. 8/99,

is amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix

1 The Firearm and Hunting Licensing Regulation, B.C. Reg. 8/99, is amended

by repealing

section 18 and substituting the following:

Lost hunter number card

18 A duplicate copy of a hunter number card may

be issued by an employee of the ministry authorized to issue hunter number cards

or a government agent if the holder of the hunter number card

(

a) signs a declaration evidencing that the hunter number card has been lost or destroyed, and

(

b) pays the fee set out in the Schedule.

2 The following

section is added:

Lost licence

18.1 A duplicate copy of a licence may be issued

if the holder of the licence

(

a) completes a statement of loss in the form specified by the director, and

(

b) pays the fee set out in the Schedule.

3 Items 3 (

h) and (

i) of the

Schedule are repealed and the following substituted:

(

h) mountain goat .................................................

4 Item 4 (

i) of the

Schedule is repealed and the following substituted:

(

5 Item 5 of the

Schedule is amended by striking out "licence or"

Schedule is repealed and the following substituted:

d) any other licence except a firearm licence .........10.00
