OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Human Rights Act dated November 25, 2015, and pursuant to
Section 22 of
Chapter 214 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Human Rights Act , is pleased to:
a) reappoint Joan Boutilier of Wolfville, Kings County, as a commissioner of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a three year term commencing December 29, 2015;
b) appoint Cheryl Knockwood of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Membertou) as a commissioner of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a three year term commencing December 29, 2015;
c) appoint Jerry Blumenthal of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a commissioner of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a three year term commencing December 29, 2015;
d) determine that Joan Boutilier be paid remuneration at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each half day spent at duly called meetings of the Commission;
e) determine that Cheryl Knockwood be paid remuneration at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each half day spent at duly called meetings of the Commission; and
f) determine that Jerry Blumenthal be paid remuneration at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each half day spent at duly called meetings of the Commission.
