Public Passenger Vehicles (Registration Fee) Regulations

made under subsection 302(1) of the

Motor Vehicle Act

R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 293

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of

Transportation dated the 27th day of June, 1986, and pursuant to subsection (1) of

Section 270 of

Chapter 191 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1967,

[subsection 302(1), R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 293], the Motor Vehicle Act, is pleased to

revoke an Order in Council dated the lst day of June, 1961, respecting fees for

public passenger vehicles, and determine, effective as of and from the 1st day of

August, 1986, that the annual fee payable for registration for the year 1986 and

subsequent years of a public passenger vehicle operated by a public utility under the

Public Utilities Act, for the carriage of passengers over routes approved by the

Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities within the limits of a city or town, or

within or between cities and towns that adjoin, shall be the nominal fee as provided

in the

Schedule of Fees approved under

Section 270 [302] of the Motor Vehicle

Act.
