OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of the Environment dated September 15, 1998, pursuant to Sections 11 and 25 of
Chapter 1 of the Acts of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Environment Act, and subsections 4(1) and 4(2) of the Round Table Regulations is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Round Table on Environment and Economy for a term of office of two years commencing October 1, 1998 and ending September 30, 2000: Brock H. Dickinson of Digby, Digby County; Meinhard Doelle of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Bryce W. Hartnell of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; Heather Johannesen of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Ann C. MacLean of New Glasgow, Pictou County; Edward J. Mroz of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; Michael N.
Robinson of Black River, Kings County; Lisa Simpson of R.R.#1 Port Williams, Kings County; Richard W. Welsford of R.R.#2 Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County; Thomas Young of Parrsboro, Cumberland County; (
b) reappoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Round Table on Environment and Economy for a further term of office of one year commencing October 1, 1998 and ending September 30, 1999: Dr. Donald F. Arseneau of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; Dr. Graham Daborn of R.R.#2 Wolfville, Kings County; Patricia Dietz of Port Hawkesbury, Inverness County; Dr. F. Colin Duerden of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; Angus Ells of R.R.#5 Canning, Kings County; Brian Giroux of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County; Martin Janowitz of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; Dr. Peter Ricketts of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and (
c) direct that each member of the Nova Scotia Round Table of Environment and Economy, excluding those members employed in the civil service of Nova Scotia or members holding elected office, be reimbursed for all necessary and reasonable travel and meal expenses incurred on account of their work as a member of the Nova Scotia Round Table on Environment and Economy.
