OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated September 20, 2006, and pursuant to subsections 16(1), (2), (3) and (4),

Section 17 and subsections 94(1), (2) and (3) of

Chapter 475 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Trade Union Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Sylvester Atkinson as a Management member of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) for a further term of three (3) years commencing November 14, 2006; (

b) fix the remuneration of Sylvester Atkinson at the rate of $150 per day for each day he attends as a Management member of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia), in addition to actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

c) reappoint Daniel J. MacLeod as an alternate Management member of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) for a further term of three (3) years commencing October 10, 2006; (

d) fix the remuneration of Daniel J. MacLeod at the rate of $150 per day for each day he attends as an alternate Management member of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia), in addition to actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

e) appoint the following persons as alternate Management members of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia), each for a term of three (3) years commencing October 10, 2006: (

i) Hugh A. R. Simpson of Wolfville, Kings County, (ii) Matthew J. MacPherson of Halifax Regional Municipality, (iii) George L. Fox of Halifax Regional Municipality; (

f) fix the remuneration of Hugh A. R. Simpson, Matthew J. MacPherson and George L. Fox at the rate of $150 per day for each day they attend as alternate Management members of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia), in addition to actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by them in the discharge of their duties.
