CHAPTER

An Act to amend

An Act to incorporate The Regina Golf Club (Assented to May 26, 2000)

WHEREAS

An Act to incorporate The Regina Golf Club was assented to on March 22, 1923;

WHEREAS pursuant to said Act, the name of the corporation is stated to be “The Regina Golf Club”;

WHEREAS on November 27, 1998 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II granted permission for The Regina Golf Club to use the title “Royal”;

WHEREAS a Petition has been presented by Graham Barker, William Klein, and Gene Wlasiuk praying that

an Act be passed by the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan to the change the name of The Regina Golf Club; THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Renaming of The Regina Golf Club Act. S.S. 1923, c.73 amended

An Act to incorporate The Regina Golf Club is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Long title amended The

long title is struck out and the following substituted: “An Act to incorporate The Royal Regina Golf Club”.

Section amended
