OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated July 11, 2006, pursuant to subsection 452(3) of

Chapter 18 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1998, the Municipal Government Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations to enter into the Canada-Nova Scotia Federal Gas Tax Transfer Agreement for Transit with the Government of Canada, and any amendment to the Agreement referenced in the Agreement, to include substantially the programs, terms and conditions outlined in the Agreement in draft form in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report; (

b) authorize the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations to execute the agreement referred to in paragraph (

a) and such other documents or agreements in such form as the Department of Justice may approve as deemed necessary to give effect to this Order.
