Order in Council 1090/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Bruce Best was reappointed as full-time member and vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term of one year, effective September 30, 2020, by Order in Council O.C. 1343/2020;

And

whereas Bruce Best tendered his resignation effective February 12, 2021;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , Order in Council O.C. 1343/2020 be revoked effective February 12, 2021.
