Marketing of Agricultural Products Act

ALBERTA PORK PRODUCERS' AUTHORIZATION

AMENDMENT REGULATION

on December 14, 2012 and approved by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural

Development on April 23, 2013 pursuant to sections 26 and 27 of the Marketing of

Agricultural Products Act.

1 The Alberta Pork Producers' Authorization Regulation

(AR 281/96) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1 is amended

(

a) by repealing clause (c);

(

b) by adding the following after clause (e):

(f) "swine" means any member of the species Sus scrofa

that is commonly known as a domestic pig or farmed

wild boar.

Section 2 is amended

(

a) in clauses (

a) and (

b) by striking out "hogs"

wherever it appears and substituting "swine";

(

b) by repealing clauses (c), (

d) and (e);

(

c) in clause (

f) by striking out "and licence fees, as the case

may be";

(

d) in clause (

g) by striking out "hogs" and substituting

(

e) in clause (

h) by striking out "licence fees,".

AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Operator Licensing and Vehicle Control Regulation

(AR 320/2002) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 6(1) and (3) are amended

(

a) by striking out "Her Majesty's Forces" wherever it

occurs and substituting "the Canadian Forces";

(

b) by striking out "Status of Forces Agreement (NATO)"

and substituting "NATO Status of Forces Agreement

(SOFA)".

Section 86(1) is amended by striking out "that" before

"issued".

Section 106 is amended

(

a) in subsections (1) and (2)(

b) by striking out "Board"

wherever it occurs and substituting "Registrar";

(

5 The following is added after

Expiry

151.1 For the purpose of ensuring that this Regulation is

reviewed for ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that

it may be repassed in its present or an amended form following a

review, this Regulation expires on June 30, 2019.

Guarantees

OIL SANDS CONSERVATION AMENDMENT REGULATION

section 20(1) of the Oil Sands Conservation Act.

1 The Oil Sands Conservation Regulation (AR 76/88) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 1(2) is amended by adding the following after

clause (d.11):

(d.12) "Directive 082" means Directive 082 Operating Criteria:

Resource Recovery Requirements for Oil Sands Mine and

Processing Plant Operations as published by the Board and as

amended from time to time;

Section 27(

b) is repealed and the following is

substituted:

b) that will maximize the recovery of all oil sands within the

mine site and comply with Directive 082, and

Section 28 is repealed.

Oil and Gas Conservation Act

OIL AND GAS CONSERVATION AMENDMENT REGULATION

For information only: Made by the Energy Resources Conservation Board on May 8,

2013 pursuant to

section 10(1) of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act.

1 The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations (AR 151/71)

are amended by this Regulation.

Section 7.050(7.1), (7.2), (7.3) and (7.4) are repealed.

3 The following is added after

section 7.070:

7.080 A licensee of a pumping well that has the potential to flow

to atmosphere at sustained rates of at least 8 m3 per day of liquids

and has a hydrogen sulphide content of 10 moles per kilomole or

greater in the gas phase shall ensure that the well is equipped with

a full opening master valve, a hydraulic rod blowout preventer and

an environmental blowout preventer.

4 The following is added after

section 8.191:

8.192 The licensee of a well shall ensure that the wellhead is

conspicuously marked or fenced in a manner that makes it visible

in all seasons.

8.193 The licensee and operator of a well shall ensure that no

vehicles operate within a 3-metre radius of the wellhead, except

vehicles that are specifically required to do so as part of an

operation being performed on a well.
