OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated December 20, 2000, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 355 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Primary Forest Products Marketing Act, and to clause 19(

f) of

Chapter 235 of the said Revised Statutes, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to amend Order in Council 1999-31 dated February 3, 1999 by: (

a) deleting from the third and fourth lines of paragraph (

a) thereof the words, punctuation and numbers "of two years commencing January 4, 1999" and substituting therefor the words, punctuation and numbers "to expire April 30, 2001"; (

b) deleting from the fourth line of paragraph (

c) thereof the words, punctuation and numbers "of two years commencing January 4, 1999" and substituting therefor the words, punctuation and numbers "to expire April 30, 2001"; and (

c) adding immediately following paragraph (

d) thereof the following paragraph: "(

e) determine that such members shall, in respect of any application, appeal, proceeding, matter or thing heard before or commenced by any of them as a member, have and exercise the jurisdiction of a member, including the power to complete any unfinished matter and give a decision therein subsequent to the expiry of their respective terms under this Order, and ending at such time that they have completed any unfinished matters and given decisions therein.".
