OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated November 24, 2019, and pursuant to Sections 8, 13(1)(

a) and 13(1)(

c) of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Health and Wellness to enter into an agreement with IWK pediatric dentists, the IWK Health Centre, Dalhousie University, and the Nova Scotia Dental Association to continue the Academic Funding Plan for the IWK pediatric dentistry department, in the form as set out in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation (the “AFP Agreement”), and to approve the Minister to authorize payment as required or permitted by the AFP Agreement, effective on and after January 14, 2020.
