OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated August 31, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 2A and 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective August 31, 2021, to: (
a) direct that the Department of Seniors be renamed the Department of Seniors and Long Term Care; and (
b) assign all affairs and matters relating to continuing care and continuing care infrastructure which have heretofore been assigned by or under any Act of the Legislature to the Department of Health and Wellness or the Minister of Health and Wellness to the Department of Seniors and Long Term Care or the Minister of Seniors and Long Term Care, as the case may be.
