B.C. Reg. 292/2007, deposited September 24, 2007, pursuant to the ASSESSMENT ACT [Sections 16, 20, 20.1, 23 and 74], ASSESSMENT AUTHORITY ACT [Section 23], ASSESSMENT STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT, 2007 [Section 69] and the GREATER VANCOUVER TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY ACT [Section 167]. Order in Council 629/2007, approved and ordered September 20, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders the following, effective September 24, 2007:

Sections 1, 3, 5 to 11, 12 (

b) and (c), 15, 16, 21 to 31, 33 to 47, 49 to 53 and 55 to 68 of the

Assessment Statutes Amendment Act, 2007 , S.B.C. 2007, c. 13, are brought into force.

The regulations listed in Column 1 of the

Schedule are amended in the provisions listed opposite them in Column 2 by striking out "commissioner" and substituting "assessment authority".

Section 1.2 (1) (

i) of the Assessment Authority Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 497/77, is amended by striking out "commissioner" and substituting "authority".

Section 5 (

a) of the Assessment Averaging and Phasing Regulation, B.C. Reg. 370/2003, is amended by striking out "assessment commissioner" and substituting "British Columbia Assessment Authority".

Section 7 of the Parking Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 347/2005, is amended by striking out "commissioner" and substituting "British Columbia Assessment Authority".

Section 2 (1) and (2) of the Physical Inventory Disclosure Regulation, B.C. Reg. 434/98, is amended by striking out "commissioner's" and substituting "assessment authority's".

Section 3 (1) of Standards for the Classification of Land

as a Farm Regulation, B.C. Reg. 411/95, is amended by striking out

"Assessment Commissioner" and substituting "assessment authority".
