Statute: Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister Responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act dated September 11, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act , is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Nadine Bernard of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Sydney) and Maura Ryan of Port Williams, Kings County as members of the Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women each for a term of three years commencing September 28, 2018; (

b) appoint Abshiro Abdille of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women for a term of three years commencing September 28, 2018; and (

c) order that Nadine Bernard, Maura Ryan, and Abshiro Abdillie each be remunerated for their service in the amount of $100 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties as members, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
