Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated April 6 2017, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) enter into a new ten (10) year lease with the Municipality of the District of Shelburne for a portion of the land identified as PID 80115934 and located at Jordan Falls, that portion containing 0.17 acres, more or less, and shown outlined in bold on the drawing marked as

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) approve an option to extend the lease for an additional five (5) years upon three (3) months written notice to the Province; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a lease in such form as the Minister determines acceptable; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such other documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
