Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs dated July 18, 2014, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 6 of

Chapter 301 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Municipal Finance Corporation Act and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Robert A. Houlihan as Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation effective August 31, 2014; (

b) appoint Paul A. Wills as Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation commencing December 1, 2014; and (

c) direct that the remuneration of the Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation be within the same range as an EC 14 of the EC classification system for non-bargaining unit civil servants and that he be provided with any merit awards, incentives, salary adjustments or pay for performance, commensurate with any such compensation adjustments which the Province of Nova Scotia provides with respect to non-bargaining unit civil servants, and subject to all applicable enactments.
