Statute: Provincial Finance Act Student Aid Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated August 16, 2005, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 8 of

Chapter 449 of the Acts of 1989, the Student Aid Act, and

Section 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize, ratify and confirm the Minister of Education's entering into agreements with the Royal Bank dated July 14, 2000, and July 31, 2003, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation as

Schedule "A" and "B" respectively; (

b) authorize, ratify and confirm the Minister of Education's signing of certificates of eligibility for loans guaranteed by the Province in accordance with the Student Aid Act; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Education to sign certificates of eligibility for loans guaranteed by the Province in accordance with the Student Aid Act.
