Statute: Public Highways Act Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated July 26, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act and

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system, Parcel 2012-1 comprising 9035 square feet, Parcel 2012-2 comprising 786 square feet and Parcel 2012-3 comprising 6559 square feet, for a total area of 16380 square feet, as described in Schedules "A", "A-1", and "A-2" and shown on

Schedule "B"; a survey plan titled "Plan of Survey showing Parcel 2012-1, 2012-2 and 2012-3, Lands of H.M. in right of the PROVINCE OF NOVA SCOTIA at New Haven, which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the transfer of Administration and Control of these lands to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Transfer of Administration and Control of Crown Land Document in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described.
