BILL 31 PROJET DE LOI 31 THE TOBACCO TAX AMENDMENT ACT LOI MODIFIANT LA LOI D E LA TAXE SUR LE TABAC (Assented to ) (Date de sanction : ) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows: SA MAJESTÉ, sur l'avis et avec le consentement de l'Assemblée législative du Manitoba, édicte : C.C.S.M. c. T80 amended 1 The Tobacco Tax Act is amended by this Act. Modification du c. T80 de la C.P.L.M. 1 La présente loi modifie la Loi de la taxe sur le tabac . 2 Subsection 2(1) is amended (

a) in clause (a), by striking out " 29.5¢ " and substituting " 30¢ "; (

b) in clause (c), by striking out " 27¢ " and substituting " 27.5¢ "; (

c) in clause (c.1), by striking out " 45¢ " and substituting " 45.5¢ "; and (

d) in clause (d), by striking out " 28.5¢ " and substituting " 29¢ ". 2 Le paragraphe 2(1) est modifié :

a) dans l'alinéa a), par substitution, à « 29,5 ¢ », de « 30 ¢ »;

b) dans l'alinéa c), par substitution, à « 27 ¢ », de « 27,5 ¢ »;

d) dans l'alinéa d), par substitution, à « 28,5 ¢ », de « 29 ¢ ». 1 Coming into force 3 This Act comes into force (

a) on July 1, 2019, if it receives royal assent before that day; or (

b) on November 15, 2019, if it receives royal assent on or after July 1, 2019. Entrée en vigueur 3 La présente loi entre en vigueur :

a) le 1 er juillet 2019 si elle est sanctionnée avant cette date;
