OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism and Culture dated March 26, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 6, subsection 7(2) and clause 20(1)(

e) of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 1995-96, the Arts Council Act, and subsection 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) suspend the appointments of the following individuals as members of the Nova Scotia Arts Council - Conseil des arts de la Nouvelle-Ecosse: (

i) Christopher King (ii) Alan Syliboy (iii) Susan Tileston (iv) Ellison Robertson (

v) Marilyn MacDonald (vi) Linda Carvery (vii) Eric Favaro (viii) W.L. Jollimore (ix) Barbara Richman (

x) John Nowlan (xi) Gay Hauser (

b) confirm the appointment of Gregory Beaulieu as interim Executive Director to carry out the activities and objects of the Arts Council and assign to him all the powers and responsibilities of the Council as set out in the Arts Council Act including but not restricting the generality of the above, the administration of the Endowment Fund.
