An Act Relating to Dalhousie College

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education dated February 2, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 1 of

Chapter 104 of the Acts of Nova Scotia, 1935,

An Act Relating to Dalhousie College , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Cassandra Dorrington of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing February 16, 2016, and expiring June 30, 2018; (

b) appoint Jody Forsyth of Calgary, Alberta, as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing February 16, 2016, and expiring June 30, 2018; (

c) appoint Michele Williams of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing February 16, 2016, and expiring June 30, 2018; (

d) reappoint Sherry Porter of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing February 16, 2016, and expiring June 30, 2018; (

e) revoke the appointment of William A. Black as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University, made by OIC 2013-277, dated August 20, 2013, effective February 16, 2016; and (

f) revoke the appointment of Josef (Jim) M. Spatz as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University, made by OIC 2013-277, dated August 20, 2013, effective February 16, 2016.
