Order in Council 880/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to Order in Council 1171/2024 the Minister of Infrastructure (the “Minister”) is responsible for the administration of the Transit-Oriented Communities Act, 2020 (the “Act”);

Whereas pursuant to subsection 2(1) of the Act, land may be designated as transit-oriented community land if the Lieutenant Governor in Council is of the opinion that the designation is or may be required to support a transit-oriented community project, as defined in

section 1 of the Act;

And

whereas all or part of the properties listed in

Schedule “A” attached hereto are or may be required to support a transit-oriented community project for the Ontario Line, which is a priority transit project;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 2(1) of the Act, all of the properties described in the attached

Schedule “A” are designated as transit-oriented community lands for all purposes in respect of a priority transit project, effective the date of this Order.
