Statute: Notaries and Commissioners Act Justices of the Peace Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated December 20, 2000, and pursuant to clause 18(1)(

a) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, and

Section 9 of

Chapter 312 of the said Revised Statutes, the Notaries and Commissioners Act, is pleased to: (

a) amend Order in Council 94-118 dated February 8, 1994, as amended by Order in Council 94-536 dated June 28, 1994, by revoking the appointment of Janet M. Cruickshank as a Justice of the Peace; and (

b) amend Order in Council 97-25 dated January 14, 1997, by revoking the appointment of Janet M. Cruickshank as a Commissioner of Oaths.
