Order in Council 1197/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas Order in Council numbered O.C. 155/2015 dated February 4, 2015 (the “Establishment OIC” ), established two Special Advisor positions to conduct a review of Ontario’s changing workplaces;

and

whereas Order in Council numbered O.C. 156/2015 dated February 4, 2015 appointed C. Michael Mitchell as a Special Advisor for a maximum term of 21 months, starting February 4, 2015 and ending no later than November 3, 2016;

and

whereas Order in Council numbered O.C. 1196/2016 dated August 4, 2016 (the “Extension OIC”) extended the establishment of the two Special Advisor positions until February 28, 2017;

therefore , pursuant to the Establishment OIC and the Extension OIC, the appointment of

c. Michael Mitchell , Toronto

as a Special Advisor to conduct a review of Ontario’s changing workplaces is hereby extended until February 28, 2017 and Order in Council numbered O.C. 156/2015 dated February 4, 2015 is amended accordingly.

This Order is effective on the “Approved and Ordered” date below.
