OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 27, 2025, and pursuant to clauses 16(1)(

a) and (

b) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) grant an easement (being a maximum of 90 metres wide) to Wedgeport Wind Farm Limited Partnership, by its general partner Wedgeport Wind Farm GP Inc., a partnership with its registered office at Dartmouth, Halifax County, or its successors or permitted assigns, for the purpose of constructing, installing, upgrading, using and maintaining access roads and collector power lines (overhead and underground medium voltage power collection system) for wind energy development on Crown lands currently identified as portions of PIDs 90007071 and 90007089, located in Yarmouth County, and shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation; (

b) issue a lease for the purpose of wind energy development to Wedgeport Wind Farm Limited Partnership, by its general partner Wedgeport Wind Farm GP Inc., a company with its registered office at Dartmouth, Halifax County, or its successors or permitted assigns for Crown lands currently identified as portions of PIDs 90007071 and 90007089, located in Yarmouth County, containing approximately 9 hectares (22 acres), as shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

c) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
