CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Ophthalmic Dispensers Act (Assented to June 15, 1988) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Ophthalmic Dispensers Amendment Act, 1988. R.S.S. 1978, c.O-5 The Ophthalmic Dispensers Act is amended in the manner provided in this Act.

Section amended The following clause is added after clause 7(2)(m): “(m.1) prescribing the composition of the board of examiners”.

Section amended Subsection 17(2) is repealed. New

section

Section is repealed and the following substituted: Appeal “24(1) A person: (

a) against whom an order has been made pursuant to

section 23; or (

b) with respect to whom the council has made a decision pursuant to subsection 11(1) or 14(3); may appeal from the order or decision to Her Majesty’s Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan. “

(2) Sections to and of The Medical Profession Act, 1981 apply mutatis mutandis to an appeal pursuant to subsection (1)”.

Section repealed
