Statute: Nova Scotia Museum Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage dated October 3, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 315 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Nova Scotia Museum Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Museum Board of Governors, each for a term of three years commencing October 30, 2007: Archibald McCulloch of Fall River, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Sandra Nowlan of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Archibald McCulloch and Sandra Nowlan and indemnify them from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
