OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated August 2, 2019, and pursuant to subsection 8(1) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Lands and Forestry: a. beginning negotiations with the Public Services and Procurement Canada, on behalf of Her Majesty Queen in right of Canada, to acquire approximately 17.181 hectares (171, 807 square metres) of surplus Federal Crown lands located at Southwest Cove, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, currently identified as PID 00555284 and shown as Parcel 2017-2 on the plan marked

Schedule “A”; and b. if an agreement is reached, accepting the transfer of approximately 17.181 hectares (171,807 square metres) of land located at Southwest Cove, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, currently identified as PID 00555284 and shown as Parcel 2017-2 on the plan marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to a clearing easement identified as Parcel 2017-E on the attached

Schedule “A”, from Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada (Public Services and Procurement Canada), or Her approved successors or assigns, for a purchase price of $167,500.00 (plus HST if applicable), provided Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, or Her respective approved successors or assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and c. executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
