OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated June 6, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act , and in accordance with the Department of Health and Wellness Construction Grant Program, is pleased to approve the making of grants by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to the South Shore District Health Authority, the South West Nova District Health Authority, the Annapolis Valley District Health Authority, the Colchester East Hants Health Authority, the Pictou County Health Authority, the Guysborough Antigonish-Strait Health Authority, and the Cape Breton District Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed nine million and seven hundred thousand dollars ($9,700,000.00) in order to proceed with the design and construction stage for the conversion to natural gas and compressed natural gas at seven regional hospitals, the cost of which grant is to be paid on the basis of invoiced costs submitted to the Department of Health and Wellness and charged to “Capital Grants, Department of Health and Wellness”, effective July 15, 2014.
