An Act to Amend the Université de Moncton Act WHEREAS the Université de Moncton prays that it be enacted as hereinafter set forth; THEREFORE, Her Majesty, by and with the ad- vice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows: 1 Subsection 4(2) of the Université de Moncton Act,

chapter of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1986, is repealed and the following is substituted: 4(2) The role of each campus is outlined as fol- lows: (

a) the Moncton campus is exclusively entitled to offer full university programmes leading to de- grees at the bachelor, master and doctorate lev- els; (

b) notwithstanding paragraph (a), the Edmundston campus is entitled to offer the first two years of the University’s programmes as well as the open bachelor of arts programme subject to specific conditions set out by the Academic Senate and also bachelor degree programmes in PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur l’Université de Moncton,

chapitre des Lois du Nouveau- Brunswick de 1986, est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit : 4(2) Le rôle de chaque constituante se définit comme suit :

a) la constituante de Moncton est seule habili- tée à offrir des programmes d’études universi- taires complets menant au baccalauréat, à la maî- trise et au doctorat;

b) nonobstant l’alinéa a), la constituante d’Edmundston est habilitée à offrir les deux pre- mières années des programmes d’études de l’Université de même que le programme d’études menant au baccalauréat ès arts multi- disciplinaire, selon les conditions spécifiques Projet de loi Loi modifiant la

Loi sur l’Université de Moncton forestry sciences, agriculture and land use plan- ning; (

c) notwithstanding paragraph (a), the Shippa- gan campus is entitled to offer the first two years of the University’s programmes and bachelor de- gree programmes in coastal zone management and information management. arrêtées par le Sénat académique, ainsi que des programmes d’études de premier cycle dans les domaines de la foresterie, de l’agriculture et de l’aménagement du territoire;

c) nonobstant l’alinéa a), la constituante de Shippagan est habilitée à offrir les deux pre- mières années des programmes d’études de l’Université ainsi que des programmes d’études de premier cycle dans les domaines de la gestion des zones côtières et de la gestion de l’informa- tion.
