Order in Council 533/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas subsection 159(6) of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 provides that with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (“Board”) may acquire real property that the Board considers necessary for its purposes and may dispose of it;

And

whereas the Board considers it necessary for its purposes to acquire leasehold interests in North Bay;

Therefore , pursuant to subsection 159(6) of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997, the Board is approved to enter into the following new lease arrangement:

A lease arrangement for 4,576 sq. ft. at 555 Oak Street, Suite 300, North Bay ON , P1B 8E3, for a term of five years commencing July 1, 2021 and with a base rent of $114,216 per year over the five-year term.
