OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated June 13, 2007 and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Charles Cox of Truro as an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court for a term of office of one year commencing June 1, 2007 and ending June 2, 2008; (
b) determine the remuneration for an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia to be at the rate of One Hundred and Forty Five Dollars ($145.00) per hour or part thereof for each sitting of the court, Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for preparation of a stated case. An administrative fee is fixed at One Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars ($125.00) per month to cover disbursements incurred. Payment of extraordinary expenses that have been approved before they are incurred is approved.
