B.C. Reg. 84/2012 , deposited April 20, 2012, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [section 35] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [section 26]. Order in Council 243/2012, approved and ordered April 19, 2012.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 1, 2012,

(

a) the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1 and

(

b) the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2.

Schedule 1

Section 1 (1) of the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended

(

a) in the definition of "application for income assistance (part 1) form" by striking out " the application " and substituting " an application " and by striking out " prescribed " and substituting " specified ", and

(

b) in the definition of "application for income assistance (part 2) form" by striking out " the application " and substituting " an application " and by striking out " prescribed " and substituting " specified ".

Section 34 (1) (

b) is amended by striking out " prescribed " and substituting " specified ".

Schedule 2

Section 1 (1) of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended

(

a) in the definition of "application for disability assistance (part 1) form" by striking out " the application " and substituting " an application " and by striking out " prescribed " and substituting " specified ", and

(

b) in the definition of "application for disability assistance (part 2) form" by striking out " the application " and substituting " an application " and by striking out " prescribed " and substituting " specified ".

Section 30 (1) (

b) is amended by striking out " prescribed " and substituting " specified ".
