Statute: Civil Service Collective Bargaining Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Human Resources dated July 14, 2006, pursuant to Sections 3, 4 and 6 of

Chapter 71 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Collective Bargaining Act, is pleased to: (

a) repeal clause (

a) of Order in Council 2004-414 dated October 28, 2004, appointing Gregory I. North, Q.C., as a member and designating him as Chair of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board; and (

b) appoint Bruce P. Archibald, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and designate him as Chair of the Civil Service Employee Relations Board for a term of office commencing August 3, 2006, and ending October 31, 2007, and to determine his remuneration at the rate of $10,000.00 per annum, and, in addition, $150.00 per day while sitting as a board member at a hearing, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
