Order in Council 1857/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council established the position of Special Advisor on the Long-Term Financial Sustainability of Laurentian University by Order in Council 88/2021 and extended the position by Order in Council 982/2021;

And

whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it advisable to further extend the Special Advisor position;

Therefore , pursuant to

section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act , Order in Council 982/2021 is hereby amended by striking out “for a period not extending beyond December 31, 2021” from paragraphs 1 and 2 and substituting “for a period not extending beyond September 30, 2022”.
