Order in Council 983/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 43(2)(

b) and 43(2)(

c) of the Courts of Justice Act and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006 , persons appointed as members of the Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee shall be remunerated during the term of their appointment as follows:

Part-time Chair: $566 per day.

Part-time Members: $355 per day.

Further, appointees may be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other Treasury Board/Management Board of Cabinet directives.

This Order in Council is effective April 19, 2021.

And further, Order in Council O.C. 993/2007 is revoked effective April 19, 2021.
