Order in Council 221/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council O.C. # 219/2021 dated February 25, 2021 the Government of Ontario established the position of Special Advisor on Ontario Place Development (the “Special Advisor”);

And

whereas the Government of Ontario considers it advisable to appoint an individual to serve as the Special Advisor;

Now therefore , pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint advisors to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Mark Saunders of Toronto

is hereby appointed as Special Advisor on Ontario Place Development to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the date of this Order.
