OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated August 3, 2004, pursuant to
Section 5 of
Chapter 466 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Theatres and Amusements Act, and Sections 40, 46 and 65 of
Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-1995, the Gaming Control Act, is pleased to: (
a) approve the delegation of film classification duties in the form of an Order in the manner set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (
b) fix the remuneration for the individuals delegated film classification duties pursuant to paragraph (
a) at $50 per half day plus reimbursement for actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by the individuals in carrying out their film classification duties.
Schedule A Delegation approved by the Governor in Council pursuant to
Section 65 of
Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act 1. The Minister of Environment and Labour hereby delegates the power to classify films in accordance with
Section 5 of
Chapter 466 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Theatres and Amusements Act, to the following persons for a 3 year term commencing the date of the Order in Council authorizing this delegation and ending September 1, 2007. Irma Mullen, of Moser River, Halifax Regional Municipality; George Fraser, of Truro, Colchester County; Ulysse J. Cottreau, of Tusket, Yarmouth County; Carman F.
Rafuse, of Windsor, Hants County; Myrna Adams-Mood, of West Pubnico, Yarmouth County; Charles Richard, of Lower Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality; Victor Amirault, of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County; Irene MacInnis, of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; Claudia R. Clarke, of Trenton, Pictou County; Aileen M. Heisler, of Chester, Lunenburg County; James E. MacArthur, of Stellarton, Pictou County; Mary MacLeod, of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; Alf F. Nielsen, of Lake Echo, Halifax Regional Municipality; Harold Sanford, of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality.
(2) The Executive Director of Alcohol and Gaming, Department of Environment and Labour, has supervision and direction of the work of the persons listed in paragraph 1.
