I, Toby Louie, Superintendent of Motor Vehicles, order that, effective June 30, 2025,

section 1 of the Lien on Impounded Motor Vehicles Regulation, B.C. Reg. 25/2015, is amended by repealing the definition of " unclaimed vehicle " and substituting the following:

"unclaimed vehicle" means a motor vehicle impounded under the Act to which one of the following applies:

(

a) the motor vehicle is disposed of under the Act;

(

b) the motor vehicle is disposed of under Division 3 of

Part 6 of the Commercial Liens Act ;

(

c) the motor vehicle is retained under

section 42 (3) of the Commercial Liens Act .
