Statute: Optometry Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated February 4, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 10 of

Chapter 328 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Optometry Act, and

Section 44A of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following person as a member of the Board of Examiners in Optometry for a term of one year commencing March 1, 2005, and ending February 28, 2006: Dr. Andrea Hawkins of Fall River, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

b) reappoint the following persons as members of the Board of Examiners in Optometry for a term of one year commencing March 1, 2005, and ending February 28, 2006: Dr. Sheldon Pothier of Wolfville, Kings County; and Dr. Timothy Winslade of Wolfville, Kings County.
